Parisa Dale Brown Yazdani
January — May
Growing up mixed, one often finds themselves struggling with identity. It is easy to feel more connected to one culture than the other. But regardless of cultural differences, everyone is mixed. Every human being is a unique fusion of two families, each carrying a unique culture of their own. This is the story of my two cultures. Yes, I am Persian and I am White, but that is much less relevant than the fact that I am Parisa Dale Brown Yazdani.
This was my final thesis for my Bachelor of Design. It is a personal narrative that explores and contrasts the two completely different sides of my family tree.
